October 2, 2009 - 6 p.m.—10 p.m. Kick off party featuring live entertainment by Souled Out performing their unique blend of soul, funk, rock and country, along with a variety of Anheuser-Busch beer and great food.

October 3, 2009 Cornhole Competition -The maximum number of teams we can accept is 20.  The entrance fee is 20.00 per person and  a team consists of 2 people. First place prize is 150.00 second place prize will be 100.00 . We will award trophies to the first and 2nd prize winners. Please contact us for more information.

Volunteers Needed for the Valley Smokin’ BBQ Festival

 

 

The Valley Smokin BBQ Festival brought to you by the Chamber, Front Royal Police Foundation and Downtown Front Royal will be held Friday and Saturday, October 2 & 3 at the Warren County Fairgrounds.  We are in need of volunteers to help with all facets of the event.  Volunteer admission to the festival is free.  We promise you will have a great time!

 

The positions and shifts we need help with for Friday, October 2 are:

Concessions- 5:30-7 pm or 7-8:30 pm 

ID Check/ Beer Tickets and T-Shirt Sales- 5:30-8 pm or 8-10:30 pm

Admission Gate- 8:00-10:30 pm

Beer Tent- 5:30-8 pm or 8-10:30 pm

Parking- 5:30-9 pm

 

The positions and shifts we have available for Saturday are

Concessions- 11:00 am-1:00 pm, 1:00-3:00 pm, 3:00-6:00 pm

Admission Gate- 9 am-Noon, Noon-3 pm, 3-6 pm

ID Check/Beer Tickets and T-Shirt Sales- 11 am-1:30 pm, 1:30-3:30 pm, 3:30-6 pm

Beer Tent- 11 am-1:30 pm, 1:30-3:30 pm, 3:30-6 pm

Judges Tent- 11:30 am -2 pm

Children’s Area- 9 am-Noon, Noon-3 pm, 3-6 pm
